Semiconductor stocks sold off Monday, led by a 15% plunge in memory maker SK Hynix in Seoul, pressuring AI hardware names across the board — including server maker Super Micro Computer — and pushing the Nasdaq down 1.6%.

The slide comes at the start of a busy week: major U.S. banks kick off Q2 earnings season Tuesday, and the June Consumer Price Index report is expected to give fresh clues on the inflation outlook, with the 10-year Treasury yield ticking up to 4.60%.
