Clover Health Raises Full-Year Outlook After First Profitable Quarter Streak
Clover Health reported second-quarter GAAP net income of $28 million on revenue of $743.2 million, up 55.6% from a year earlier, as the Medicare Advantage insurer's rapid membership growth continued to translate into profits. The company raised its full-year 2026 guidance across revenue, gross profit, adjusted EBITDA, GAAP net income and membership.
Management is guiding to roughly 50% membership growth this year and the company's first full year of GAAP profitability — a milestone few insurtech peers have reached. Executives pressed the case at Canaccord Genuity's annual growth conference this week, arguing Clover can sustain both growth and margin expansion as its AI-powered Clover Assistant platform scales.
The stock remains a speculative name in the managed-care space, but the combination of raised guidance and profitability marks a clear shift from the company's cash-burning early years.
