Coca-Cola Clears $90 for the First Time

Coca-Cola shares broke above $90 for the first time on Tuesday, reaching $90.35 and taking out the prior 52-week high set on July 29. The stock is up roughly 25% in 2026, far outpacing the broader consumer staples group.

The rally builds on stronger-than-expected second-quarter results and a raised full-year outlook, which eased concerns that years of price increases might eventually weaken demand. Defensive names have also benefited as investors rotate away from richly valued technology shares amid rising long-term yields.

With the stock at record levels, the debate among analysts has shifted to valuation — whether the premium multiple is justified by the company's pricing power and consistent execution.
