Delta Air Lines beat Wall Street expectations for the second quarter despite elevated fuel costs, reporting adjusted earnings of $1.56 per share versus $1.48 expected on revenue of $17.67 billion.

Premium demand continues to outpace the main cabin: first class and other premium tickets brought in $6.92 billion for the quarter, edging out the $6.85 billion from coach. Delta reaffirmed its full-year earnings forecast of $6.50 to $7.50 per share and guided third-quarter profit above analyst estimates.

The stock is up about 24.5% in 2026 and touched a record high of $95.68 earlier this month, with Wall Street remaining broadly bullish on the name.
