DraftKings shares rose about 8% to roughly $24 after second-quarter results showed customer acquisition running well ahead of expectations. The company reported revenue of $1.44 billion and a net loss of $67.6 million, swinging from a year-earlier profit, but investors focused on growth: enterprise-wide new customers climbed about 75% with acquisition costs roughly 25% better than planned.

The standout was the company's new Predictions product, whose annualized volume surged from $2.3 billion in April to roughly $11 billion by July. Management also highlighted progress on its Super App rollout as a key operational priority for the second half.

DraftKings maintained its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $6.5 billion to $6.9 billion, signaling confidence that heavier spending on new customers will convert to profitable growth as recent cohorts mature.
