Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke sold 272,551 shares on September 16 at an average price of $6.56, a transaction worth roughly $1.79 million, and followed it with additional sales of 50,000 shares on September 17 and 477,449 shares on September 15. In total, Locke sold close to 800,000 shares for about $5.26 million across the three sessions, though he retains roughly 19.4 million shares valued near $127.4 million.

The sales landed as Genius Sports shares traded around $5.62, below both their 50-day average of $7.24 and their 12-month range high of $13.69. Analysts have maintained a Moderate Buy consensus on the stock with a price target of $11.44, even as the sports-data company continues to post losses.

The company has recently leaned on growth from its new Prediction.com product and reported revenue up 64.7% year over year, but the clustered insider selling has added near-term pressure to the shares.
