NIO's U.S.-listed shares fell 4% to $4.62 Tuesday, the electric-vehicle maker's worst session in two months, after July delivery figures revealed a lineup increasingly dependent on two models. NIO delivered 35,934 vehicles in July, up 71% from a year earlier, bringing its 2026 total to 227,057, a 68% year-to-date increase.

Beneath the headline growth, the ES8 and ES9 SUVs accounted for 46% of July deliveries and 83% of core-brand volume. ES8 deliveries rose 14.7% to 10,288 while the ES9 slipped 26.5% to 6,315, and the rest of the lineup struggled, raising concerns about concentration risk in a fiercely competitive Chinese EV market.

Sentiment was further pressured by a reported stake reduction from BlackRock. Investors will be watching whether upcoming launches can broaden demand beyond the two flagship SUVs and relieve ongoing margin concerns.
