Robinhood launched crypto trading in the United Kingdom this week through its Bitstamp UK unit, letting British users buy and sell more than 50 digital assets, including bitcoin, ether and XRP, inside the same app they use for stocks, ISAs, options and futures. The service launches with zero trading fees and no account maintenance or custody charges.

The rollout extends Robinhood's push to diversify beyond its home market and beyond transaction-driven crypto revenue. In its most recent quarter the company highlighted a 39% jump in Gold subscribers and $21.7 billion in net deposits, and it now counts more than a dozen business lines generating over $100 million in annualized revenue.

The UK launch also puts Robinhood's international strategy on display days after Bank of America lifted its price target on the stock to $140, citing momentum across the platform's newer business lines.
