Robinhood Opens UK Crypto Trading and Lists Second Venture Fund

Robinhood Markets rolled out no-fee cryptocurrency trading in the United Kingdom this week, giving British customers direct access to more than 50 digital assets through the company's Bitstamp UK subsidiary. The launch marks one of the broader international expansions Robinhood has attempted since acquiring the exchange, and extends a business line that has been a meaningful contributor to trading revenue at home.

The move landed alongside the market debut of Robinhood Ventures Fund II, a closed-end vehicle that offers retail investors exposure to late-stage private companies that have historically been available mainly to venture firms and accredited investors. Together the two launches push the company further beyond the U.S. brokerage business that built it, at a time when total platform assets reached roughly $369 billion in the second quarter.

Shares changed hands between $93.80 and $96.93 on Tuesday. Analyst sentiment remains constructive, with a consensus rating of Buy across 28 covering firms and an average 12-month price target near $120, though that target assumes continued growth in both crypto volumes and the company's newer product lines.
