Robinhood Reports Wednesday: Street Eyes $1.27 Billion Quarter
Robinhood Markets reports second-quarter results after Wednesday's closing bell, with Wall Street forecasting earnings of 42 cents per share on revenue of about $1.27 billion — a 28% increase from a year earlier driven by strong equity and options trading.
Analysts lean bullish into the print. KeyBanc recently raised its price target to $125 from $100, citing improving fundamentals, though soft crypto volumes, rising costs, and a premium valuation temper the setup. Crypto accounted for roughly a fifth of transaction revenue in the first quarter.
The report follows this month's launch of Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 built for tokenized stock trading, and a turbulent week for the stock after the CEO's social media account was briefly hacked. Shares traded near $95 on Tuesday.
