Super Micro Joins a Heavy Earnings Week for Tech and Consumer Names

Super Micro Computer is scheduled to report quarterly results this week, part of a crowded earnings calendar that also includes Apple, Palantir, AMD, Pfizer, Block, ARM Holdings, Qualcomm, McDonald's, Uber and IonQ.

The server maker's report will be watched as a gauge of demand for AI infrastructure, a theme that has driven much of the market's gains this year but has also made chip and hardware stocks sensitive to any change in spending expectations.

Results from consumer and payments names such as McDonald's, Uber and Block will add a read on household spending as investors weigh a Federal Reserve that has leaned toward higher rates.
