Super Micro Points to a $60 Billion Order Book and a Cisco-Nvidia Tie-Up
Super Micro Computer reported fiscal 2026 net sales of $39.1 billion, up 78% from the prior year, driven by AI server demand and expansion across data center, enterprise and OEM channels. Management now expects AI-focused systems to make up the bulk of near-term revenue and pointed to an order book of roughly $60 billion.
Capacity is the constraint the company is addressing. Super Micro is scaling its new Silicon Valley DCBBS campus and plans to lift monthly manufacturing capability beyond 6,000 racks. On the partnership side, Cisco said it is expanding its Secure AI Factory with Nvidia through a tie-up with Supermicro, bringing high-density liquid- and air-cooled compute into that initiative.
The order book figure is a backlog indicator rather than recognized revenue, and conversion depends on component supply and rack throughput. Still, it reframes the debate around SMCI from whether demand exists to whether the company can build fast enough to capture it.
