Tyson Foods Reports Q3 Monday: Street Looks for $1.03 EPS on $14.1 Billion
Tyson Foods reports fiscal third-quarter results before the market opens Monday, August 3, with a conference call to follow at 9:00 a.m. Eastern. The consensus calls for earnings of about $1.03 per share, up roughly 13% from a year ago, on revenue near $14.1 billion, about 1.8% higher than the prior-year quarter.
Analysts expect the company to have benefited from resilient demand for animal protein, with consumers continuing to favor affordable, protein-rich meals across both retail and foodservice channels. Tyson's diversified portfolio spanning chicken, beef, pork and value-added products has helped support results through the year.
The Beef segment remains the key watch item. Tight cattle supplies and elevated live cattle costs are expected to have kept pressure on margins, leaving chicken profitability and pricing to carry much of the quarter.
